Graveside Funeral Services for Rev. Ernest Arnold Wilson, age 84, of Tifton will be held Saturday at 2:00 P. M. at the Rose Hill Cemetery West Section 1201 North St., Ashburn, Ga. Rev. Wilson died December 28, 2011 in Thomasville, Ga. after a sudden illness.
Rev. Wilson was born in Dakota, Ga. the son of the late Robert William and Martha Ann Minshew Wilson. He was a member of the Bridgeboro Baptist Church and was a retired Baptist minister and also retired from the U. S. Navy serving in the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. He was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Pate Wilson.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Gary & Joy Wilson, Goodhope, AL, daughters and sons-in-law Connie & Charlie Coffee, Thomasville, GA, and Tracey & Gary Dicks, Tifton, GA, and one sister Dorothy W. Fowler, Sycamore, GA, and his grandchildren Brandon (Stephanie) Coffee, Pavo, GA, Seth (Ashley) Coffee, Jesse (Lindsey) Coffee , Thomasville, GA, Emily Dicks, Erin Dicks, both of Tifton, GA, Zak Wilson, Mackenzie Wilson, Mason Holmes and Seth Holmes all of Goodhope, AL. and his Great-grandchildren Keisley Coffee, Gavin Coffee, Ella Rae Coffee and Sadie Nan Coffee all of Thomasville, Ga.
Visitation will be Friday from Six until Eight P. M. at the funeral home.
