Vincent S. Indoccio, 92, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday December 28, 2011 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. He was born in Lawrence, MA on September 9, 1919, a son of Gaetano and Grace (Pennisi) Indoccio. He had been a resident of Derry since 1946, formerly living in Lawrence, MA. He was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Indoccio owned and operated the Home Food Kitchen in Derry for many years, as well as the Merrimack Tile Co. in Derry. He was a former member of the Derry Rotary Club. Mr. Indoccio was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry, and had at one time sung in a barbershop quartet in the Derry area.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella (Crollari) Indoccio of Derry; two daughters, Grace Matty of Windham, NH, and Kathleen Macolino of Derry; five grandchildren, Jason, Carlo, Graziella, Vincent, and James; as well as two brothers, Vito Indoccio and Frank Indoccio both of Derry. He was predeceased by his siblings, Benjamin, Francis and Dolly.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, December 29th from 3 - 6pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Road, in Londonderry.
