Jerry Wayne Hammonds, Jr. , December 23, 2011, age 34. Preceded in death by his father Jerry Wayne Hammonds Sr., beloved wife Amanda Gayle Hammonds, uncle Richard Wayne Maynard, and aunt Shirley June Jeffreys. Survived by mother Janet Lynn Maynard, children, Katelyn Jayde Hamonds, and Baylee Paige Hammonds, loving sister Misty Dawn "Sissy Dawn" Hammonds, father and mother-in-law Tommy and Cheryl Wallace of Bowling Green, Ky, and nephew Porter Harrison Bethel. I, Janet L. Maynard loved you my son Jerry W. Hammonds, Jr. with all my Heart and Soul! You were the fattest baby that I gave birth to and I looked at you and said, “You angel, you’ve got your Daddy’s fat hands!” Oh, how much I deeply/profoundly love you. I would kiss your fat face so much that it would get chapped!
My son, was an electrician and worked for A & F Electric Co. and I was so very proud of him graduating from Glencliff High School. I did admire my son for his working since he was 16 yrs old! I thought I raised him to love the Lord, because God knows I did try! My baby boy, may you rest in final peace now and with God our Father and I pray he reached you before you did what you did. You were loved so very much by me that honey, (I believe) I gave you maybe too much! If so, I’m so very sorry. In the name of Jesus I do believe and I pray!
