Richey, Delta Lee, 89, of Louisville, KY went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Norton Audubon Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 22, 1922 in Vine Grove, KY to Ora and Lawrence Johnson, who both preceded her in death. Also preceded by her beloved husband of 58 years, James Elbert Richey; sisters, Eva Lawson and Dulcie Drake.
Delta was a member of Beechland Baptist Church.
Survivors include loving daughter, Mary Ann Barnett (Buck); three grandchildren, Michael (Becky), Greg (Adrienne) Barnett and Deanna (Barnett) Seabolt (Brian); five great grandchildren, Danielle and Ashley Barnett, Breanna and Colby Seabolt and Vivienne Barnett; sisters, Lorene Sherrrard, Mary Willie Boling, Evelyn Drake and Ella V Bailey; brothers, Elroy, C.W. and Arnold Johnson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held 12:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday and after 10:00 am Friday.

Her grandchildren would like to thank their parents for providing excellent care of their grandmother during her illness. She was always surrounded by loved ones.
