Sheela Rani, age 77, who lived with her loving family in Natick, died on Monday morning, December 26, 2011 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center at Eliot in Natick after a brief illness.
Born in Bhinder, India, on April 14, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Jamna Devi and Amarnath Mannan. Sheela was the beloved wife of Tarlok Nath who died in 1977.
She is survived by a daughter, Adarsh Kumar and husband Sanjeev Kumar of Natick; son Harjinder Kumar and wife Babita Kumar of Watertown; two brothers, Bua Mannan and wife Raj Rani of Framingham, and Dev Datt Mannan and wife Urmila of Watertown; a sister, Sudesh Joshi and husband Ravinder Joshi of Wellesley; nine grandchildren, Shiv, Raghu, Muskan, Aarti, Kiran, Sukhdev, Narinder, Jatinter, and Shivani. She is also survived by a large number of relatives and dear friends.
Sheela’s funeral service will be at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, on Tuesday, December 27th from 5 – 7p.m. Cremation will be private.
