Obituary

Americo R. “Rico” Lepore, of Woburn, formerly of Boston’s North End died Christmas day after a brief illness while visiting with his children and grandchildren in Florida. He was 78.

Born in and raised in Boston’s North End, he was the son of the late Raffaele and the late Rosina (Maffeo) Lepore. Rico served in the Army during the Korean War. After the war he worked as an electrician with the IBEW Local 103, until his retirement. He was devoted his family and enjoyed the company of his relatives and many friends.

The beloved husband of Josephine (Musto) Lepore, he was a devoted father to Leah Orr of Weston, FL and Rico Lepore of Heathrow, FL. He was a loving grandfather to Alyssa, Camryn, Ashley, Gianna, Mirella and Vincent. He was a dear brother to Alfred Lepore of Boston and the late Angelo, Charles, Domenic, Anthony and Nicholas Lepore.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday, December 30th at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Leonard Church, Hanover St., Boston, at 9: 45 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday 4 - 8.
