Miss Jacqueline A. Neville, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Friday, December 23 in the Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston. She was born 56 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of Marjorie M (Hebert) Neville and the late John A. “Jack” Neville. She was educated in Taunton, having graduated from Taunton High School. She was also a graduate of Bridgewater State College, and received her Masters Degree from Simmons College in Brookline. She had been employed as a Clinical Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for several years. She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She was an advocate for the welfare of animals, both participating and donating to the M.S.P.C.A., the Taunton Animal Shelter, and the Audubon Society. She was also a supporter of the Arthritis Foundation. She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church.
In addition to her mother, of Taunton, she leaves: 1 sister: Karen Jackson and her husband, Wayne of Taunton; 1 aunt: Eleanor DeCosta of Taunton; 1 uncle: Thomas Hebert of Taunton; 3 nephews: Christopher Jackson and his wife, Jill, Nicholas and Timothy Jackson; a great nephew: Benjamin Jackson, and a great niece: Erin Jackson.
Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
