TEWKSBURY: Jean I. (McCall) Morgan, age 85, died Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Blaire House of Tewksbury following a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late William Morgan who had served aboard the U.S.S. Eagle.

Mrs. Morgan was born on Prince Edward Island, Canada on May 4. 1918, the daughter of the late William McCall and Daisy (Haslam) (McCall) Carrigan.

At the age of 7, she and her family moved to Boston, Mass. She attended Boston Schools.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a clerk for the U.S. Navy’s Naval Support Department in Boston, where she worked for 30 years.

Mrs. Morgan lived in Billerica for over 27 years until moving with her family to Tewksbury in 1999.

Mrs. Morgan was an avid youth and professional sports fan. She enjoyed watching, attending and compiling statistics for professional hockey, baseball, basketball. However, first and foremost, she was a fan of her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by 1 daughter; Patricia A. Morgan of Acton; 4 grandchildren; Timothy Brown and his wife Amy of Tewksbury, Lauran Brown of Belmont, Kevin Brown and his wife Kathleen of Litchfield, NH and Michael Brown and his wife Oonagh of South Boston; 6 great grandchildren; Emily, Tyler, Joseph, Elizabeth, Lorelei and Lyndsey.

Calling hours Saturday from 4-7 p.m., followed by a prayer service at the FARMER & DEE FUNERAL HOME, 16 LEE ST., TEWKSBURY. Cremation at Linwood Crematory, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation, 11 Vanderbilt Ave., Norwood, MA 02062 are appreciated.
