Obituary

Francis A. “Frank” Willey, age 62 of Brockton died Friday December 23, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He shared 34 wonderful years of wedded bliss with Cathy (Lenane) Willey.
Born and raised in Dorchester, Frank was a son of the late Elery and Margaret (Hamilton) Willey and has lived in Brockton for the past 35 years. He is a 1967 graduate of Boston English High School. For many years he worked for New England Telephone Company and then worked as a customer service representative for Harvard Pilgrim in Braintree.
Frank loved all Beatles music and memorabilia. He was an accomplished chef, enjoyed cooking for his family and friends and looked forward to vacations and travel. He loved his dogs Ruby and Mocha.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his two daughters Nikki (Willey) Pontuso and her husband Joe of N. Easton and Courtney Willey and her longtime companion Derek Lussier of Brockton and four grandchildren Chloe and Derek Lussier, Jr. and Callie and Joey Pontuso, Jr. He was the brother of Karen Martin of So. Easton, and the late Ronnie and Rick Willey. He also leaves his two best friends Charlie and Barbara Kennedy of Quincy and his extended Lenane in-laws.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10am in the funeral home. Burial in Central Cemetery, Halifax. Donations in Frank’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
