Joseph A. Fanelle passed away on December 21, 2011. He was 89 years old.
Joseph was a longtime resident of Medford and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Joseph was the devoted husband of the late Hilda (Cordeiro) Fanelle. He was son of the late Daniel and Victoria (Montecalvo) Fanelle and the beloved father of the late Donna Fanelle. Joseph was the dear brother of John Fanelle of Worcester and the brother in-law of James Cordeiro and his wife Catherine of Brockton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden on Tuesday, December 27th at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. prior to the Mass. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
