BRIDGEWATER - Cecile Ann (Lombardo) Howard, 61, of Bridgewater, formerly of East Bridgewater, died Thursday at home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Lawrence F. Howard Jr.
Born May 21, 1942 in Brockton, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Sadie (Sweares) Howard.
She was raised in East Bridgewater and graduated from East Bridgewater High School, Class of 1960.
Mrs. Howard was a customer service representative for SC Direct in Easton for two years.
She was a resident of Bridgewater for the past 39 years.
Mrs. Howard was a member, choir singer and canter of St. Basil Chapel, at Bridgewater State College.
She was also a member of the Bristol Community Chorus and was part of the musical group "Star Player's" in Taunton.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence F. III and Maria S. Howard of Bridgewater; a stepmother, Anne Lombardo of Florida; a sister, Cynthia Rollins of Florida; a brother, Richard Lombardo and two nieces.
Her funeral service will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 in St. Basil Chapel, Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
