Obituary

Beatrice E. (Thibault) Ledoux, 94, of East Brookfield died Wednesday, Dec. 21 in Quaboag on the Common in West Brookfield after an illness.

Her husband George E. Ledoux died in 1998. She leaves a son, William A. Ledoux and his wife Janice of Tillson, New York, two daughters; Jean M. Bain and her husband Robert of East Brookfield and Suzanne T. Small and her husband James of Burlington, seven grandchildren Peter, Paula, David, Jim, Michelle, Mike and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren George, Claire, Emma, Celine and Camryn, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by seven brothers Joseph, Birdie, Gene, Nap, Chester, Jack and Donald, and five sisters Alice, Irene, Evelyn, Pauline and Rita.

Mrs. Ledoux was born in Spencer, daughter of William A. and Delia (Ethier) Thibault. She worked in sales at Brookfield Athletic Shoe Co., retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and its Ladies Solidarity, Lashaway Senior Citizens Club,and the Boulette-Skyton Post American Legion Auxillary, all in East.Brookfield. She was at one time a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Girl Scout Leader and a 4-H Leader. She was also an Election Inspector in East Brookfield for many years.

The Funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 27 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Church, North Brookfield Road, East Brookfield. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, East Brookfield. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30 AM.on Tuesday.
