Melvin John Jones, 82 of Clarksville, died Tuesday December 20, 2011 at VA Hospital, Murfreesboro.
He was born December 12, 1929 in Pittsburg, PA, the son of Lucille Skillman Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother and one son John Lamont Jones.
He is survived by his wife; Bonnie Jones of Clarksville,
one son Thomas Lee (Susie) Jones, two daughters Lori Anne (Travis) Stephens of Clarksville, Bobette Lamarie (Don) Nolan, of Reno, NV, nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Mr. Jones Retired from the US Air Force after 23 years and was a member of the VFW and President of the Lions Club.
The family would like to say Thank You to the VA Hospice Center, Waffle House and Walmart for their friendship and support.
