Obituary

Henry Patrick Reilly, 88, a resident of Methuen, MA, and a former long time resident of both North Andover and Yarmouthport, MA, passed away at the Blaire House of Tewksbury on Monday, December 19, 2011 surrounded by his family.

Born in Lawrence, MA, Mr. Reilly was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. He had worked for Massachusetts Electric for 35 years before retiring. Mr. Reilly had served in the United States Air Force from March of 1943 until May 5, 1945. He was shot down on April 29, 1944 in Berlin, Germany and became a Prisoner of War in STALAG 17B in Krems, Austria. Mr. Reilly was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 2104, as well as a member of the P.O.W. Grey Eagle Organization. He was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church in North Andover.

The husband of the late Ann E. (O'Neill) Reilly, family members include his daughters: Ann Marie Corriveau, wife of the late Roger J. Corriveau of Scottsdale, AZ, and Ellen P. Lemoine and her husband Gary Lemoine of North Andover, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Amy Marie Corriveau of Scottsdale, AZ, Julie Ellen Corriveau and her fiancé Kevin Baynard of San Diego, CA, Rebecca Grzanna of Bedford, NH, the late Peter R. Johnson and his wife Kimberly Johnson of North Andover, MA, and Allison M. Lemoine and her fiancé Edward Ryan of Santa Monica, CA, great grandchildren: Adrian, Tyler, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Nikolas, brother-in-law: Martin O'Neill of Baltimore, MD, sister-in-laws: Patricia C. Haley and her husband John T. Haley of Methuen, MA, and Irene Reilly wife of the late John J. Reilly of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Church, North Andover, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
