WORCESTER-Mary A. Martin, 84, of 101 Plantation Street, formerly of Manor Road, died Tuesday March 16th in Memorial Hospital. She leaves a brother in law, James F. McGlynn of Worcester and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Henry F. Martin and 4 sisters, Gertrude Martin, Lillian Manion Martin, Margaret Boyer and Anne Rita McGlynn.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Michael G. and Anna M. (McDonald) Martin and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1937. Ms. Martin had been a legal secretary for the City of Worcester Law Department for 31 years. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and its Wednesday’s Social Club.
The funeral is Friday, March 19th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, March 18th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
