William H. Young age 69 of Canton passed away suddenly at the Milford Hospital December 15th. Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the Secretary of the Masonic Grand Lodge of Massachusetts for 22 years. Over the years he served as Senior Grand Deacon for Massachusetts, Grand Representative to Virginia, Secretary of Kilwinning Lodge, Proxy:Huelen Lodge, Secretary Thomas Talbot Lodge, Worship Master of the Blue Hill Lodge, District Deputy Grand Master of the 7th Masonic District & Tyler of Blue Hill Lodge. Beloved brother of the late Jean P. Young & Roy L. Young Jr. Uncle of Roy L. Young III of Medway, Wayne D. Young of FL, Scott M. Young of Canton & Valerie K. Kelly of Taunton. Also survived by 9 greatnieces and nephews and 3 great great nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Monday 4-8 pm. Funeral service at the United Church of Christ Canton Tuesday morning at 11. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
