Imogene Rexroad Kull, 92, of Jeffersontown, passed away December 15, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center.
She was a native of Shelby County, Illinois. In 1959, the family moved to Jeffersontown, KY from Beech Grove, IN. The family joined Christ Lutheran Church at the time. She was a retired retail sales person from JC Penny (Downtown) and Behr’s (Hikes Point).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James “Jim” Kull, her parents, John and Elsie Rexroad and only sibling, Irene Camfield.
She is survived by two sons, Michael J. Kull and Douglas C. Kull (Janet Ford), one granddaughter, Melissa Turpen (Nick), and four grandsons, Matthew, Mark (Kristen), John and Christopher. Her one great granddaughter, Molly, was born March of this year.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Good Samaritan Center of Jeffersontown for the love and care they provided.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Sunday, December 18 at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. The funeral will be at 10am on Monday, December 19 at Christ Lutheran Church, 9212 Taylorsville Road with the Rev. Ron Poisel officiating. Burial at Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, KY.
