LONG, ONIS RAY, 97, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East.
He was a native of Washington County, KY. He was a retired clerk for R&K Electric Distributors. He was a decorated Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of Audubon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lula (Jones) Long; sons, Dennis Long (Kathy) and Wayne Long (Troy); grandchildren, Jennifer Akridge (Jason), Amanda Reid (Alan) and Kyle Braun; and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services 11am Monday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Willisburg Cemetery, Willisburg, KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday 2-8pm.
