Pamela Lee (Genest) Joyce, formerly of Danvers, died unexpectedly at her home in Somersworth, NH on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel P. Joyce, with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.
Born in Beverly on June 7, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Viola (Graves) Genest. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a 1974 graduate of Beverly High School.
A Danvers resident for more than 25 years, Mrs. Joyce resided in New Hampshire for the last five years. She enjoyed cooking, music, and caring for her dog, Kody.
She is survived by two beloved sons, Joseph Joyce of Somersworth, NH, and James Joyce of Danvers, three brothers, Paul Genest of Beverly, Ronald Genest and his wife Rita of Danvers, and Michael Genest of NH, three sisters-in-law, Linda Casale of Danvers, Kathy Joyce of NH, and Barbara Farese of Danvers, and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 10AM in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Sylvan St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours.
