Obituary

WORCESTER – Mrs. Anna B. (Reno) Rocco, 92, passed away Wednesday December 14th at the Christopher House surrounded by family.

Anna leaves two sons, Richard P. Rocco and his wife Linda of Oxford, William A. Rocco Jr. of Clinton; a sister, Rita Maruca of Springfield; two brothers, Robert Reno and his wife Lucille of Worcester, Joseph Reno and his wife Veronica of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Nathan Rocco and his wife Kristin, Elizabeth Rocco, Rachel Bullock and her husband Scott, Kevin Stateham, Tricia Gervais and her husband Christopher, and Mandy Williams and her husband Mark, also eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Anna was predeceased by her sisters, Carrie Bafaro, Emily Falcone, Pauline Reno, and her brothers, Frank and Raymond Reno.

She was born July 26, 1919 in Worcester, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Santo N. and Rose R. (Scola) Reno. Loving wife to the late William A. Rocco Sr.

A lifelong resident, Anna was a graduate of Commerce High School. She worked for over thirty years as a seamstress for Sports Guide Manufacturing.

Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to be with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel – St Ann Church.


A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 17th, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church at 10:00AM. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St John’s Cemetery.
