James W. (Bill) O'Donnell, born May 10, 1925 in Richmond, VA, died at home in Plympton on December 10, 2011. Beloved husband of Arlene O'Donnell, and loving father to Janie O'Donnell of Lakeville, Peter O'Donnell and his wife Dawne of FL, and Jamie Pino and her husband Bob of Bridgewater. Bill was also the cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren.
Bill had owned County Auto Mart after a work life of welding, and fabrication. He held several US Patents for a meat rail system he developed. Bill served in the US Navy in the Pacific during World War II as a radio operator, and the Army transport service.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 11:30AM at the Hillcrest cemetery in Plympton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Plympton Public Library, 248 Main St, Plympton, MA 02367.
