Evelyn (DeMello) Arruda, age 84 of Fall River passed away Dec. 12, 2011. She was the wife of the late James Arruda Sr. and the daughter of the late Emil R. & Annie (Nazareth) DeMello. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Arruda worked Tic Tock Frocks & Sagamore Shirt Co.
Evelyn was the mother of James J. Arruda Jr. (wife Joanne) of Tiverton, the grandmother of James Arruda (wife Louise) and Jayson Arruda and the aunt to several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNEAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River FRIDAY at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. There Are No Calling Hours.
