Irene L. Law, 92, of New Bedford, died December 12, 2011 at the Oaks Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late Raymond Law.
Born in Dudley, MA, the daughter of the late George and Victoria (Grescoviak) Kelley, she lived in New Bedford most of her life while wintering in Florida.
She was formerly employed by Anderson-Little as a sales clerk for many years until her retirement.
Mrs. Law was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
She enjoyed travel, Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Joyce Lawrence and her husband Robert W. of Ocoee, FL and Elizabeth Griggs and her husband Robert of Fairfield, CT; a sister, Elizabeth Livesey of Morresville, NC; 4 grandchildren, Kristin Querim of Mattapoisett, Robert J. Lawrence of Orlando, FL, Erin Hallisey of Brighton, MA and Carey Griggs of Fairfield, CT; 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett, Friday, December 16th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, December 15th from 4:30 - 7:30 PM.
