MIDDLEBORO – Thomas M. Fitzgerald, husband of Cindy L. (Lake) Fitzgerald, died at his Middleboro home on Nov. 29, 2011.
He was 65.
Born in Norton, he was the son of the late John P. and Margaret E. (Brennan) Fitzgerald.
Raised and educated in Norton, Tom was a 1965 graduate of Norton High School.
He was employed by R & F Transportation in Taunton as a truck driver for many years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, water skiing, motorcycles, and spending time with his family.
A New England Patriots fan, Tom loved to make people laugh.
Besides his wife of Middleboro, he leaves two sons, Thomas M. Fitzgerald, Jr. of Carver and Matthew Fitzgerald of Maine; a daughter, Holli A. Fitzgerald of Norton; three sisters, Barbara Almeda of Raynham, Bertha Ferrier of Taunton and Patricia Pestana of Inglewood, FL; five grandchildren, Kristen Morris, Jonathan, Kari and Erik Briggs, and Joshua Fitzgerald; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Robert Fitzgerald.
Relatives and friends may call on the family at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, on Thursday, Dec. 15th from 4 to 7 p.m.
