Ann Marie Lyons died unexpectedly Friday evening at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 76.
Ann Marie was raised in Somerville, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Alice (Donovan) Lyons. Disabled since her infancy, Ann Marie lived most of her life in Medford with her family as well as some time in a group home in Wakefield. Ann Marie was devoted to her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was the beloved sister of Mary McCourt and her husband Thomas of Medford. She was a loving aunt of Linda DeVincentis and her husband Silvio, Mary Beth Leahy and her husband Brian and a loving great-aunt to Emma Leahy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday morning, December 14th, from 8:30 to 10, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 10:30. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
