New Bedford – William E. Olejarz age 58, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. William was the beloved husband of Sandra L. (Costa) Olejarz of New Bedford.
He was the loved father of Jason W. Olejarz of New Bedford. William was the brother of Donald T. of Saugus, Robert P.“Bob “of Dartmouth, Frank Jr. of Merrimac, NH, and Peter J. Olejarz of Acushnet, Gayle M. Erlandson of Georgetown, MA and the late Sharon A. Domingos. He is also survived by his In-laws, Alice and Manuel Costa of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Olejarz was a son of the late Frank and Cecilia (Feeley) Olejarz. He was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. He was the proprietor of Sunshine Realty for 30 years. William was a member of Greater New Bedford Baseball for 20 years.
Mr. Olejarz’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. James Church, 233 County St., New Bedford Monday at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the Church. Burial will be private for the immediate family only. Arrangements are by the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St.
