Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Tulchinsky, 48, of Sandown, NH died suddenly, Thursday December 8, 2011 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. She was born on May 21, 1963 in Melrose, MA, daughter of Ronald H. and Dianne (Ells) Cheney. Betsy was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1981. She was very creative, and especially enjoyed sewing, decorating, and needle crafts. Betsy liked country music, camping in Maine, boating and rides in her convertible with her husband. Betsy loved animals, especially her dog Miss Molly. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, loving daughter, and faithful friend, who always enjoyed spending time with her family.
Betsy is survived by many, including her husband Gary Tulchinsky of Sandown, daughter, Amanda and partner James Ashford of Derry, sons Joshua and Brandon as well as her beloved granddaughter, Khloe Elizabeth. In addition to her parents Betsy is also survived by her siblings, Eric and Carl Cheney, sister Christyne Daley, nieces and nephews and her best friend, Kathy Cheney and family.
Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 7:00 pm at the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, Londonderry, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to The Sow 2 Grow Capital Campaign, PO Box 1163, Londonderry, NH 03053. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
