Jennie J. (Caruso) Romano, 87, of Abington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday December 7th in the Radius Healthcare at Danvers. She was the beloved wife of the late Sebastian J. Romano.
Jennie was born in Italy, daughter of the late Carmelo and Mary (Zappala) Caruso. She attended Boston Schools.
Jennie was a resident of Abington since 1952 and attended St. Bridget Church.
She enjoyed caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Romano and his wife Bonnie of East Bridgewater, Josephine MacPhail and her husband Edward of Abington and Marie Borgatti and her husband Thomas of Peabody; also 8 grandchildren, Carem, Ryan, Leah, Jennifer, Denise, Michael, Stephen and Joseph and 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Caruso and his late wife Connie
Her Services will be held on Tuesday December 13th at 8:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (RT58 at the Rotary) Whitman, MA, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00AM in the St. Bridget Church, Abington, MA. Interment will be in the St Patrick’s Cemetery, Rockland, MA.
