Isabella Mamone, 85 of Wilmington formerly of Medford and Somerville died Sunday after a long illness at home.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Rosalia (Lombardo) Sorrentino. Mrs. Mamone was a Stitcher, employed by the former B & F Sportwear Company in Boston’s Garment District for 30 years and retired 20 years ago.
Beloved wife of the late Antonio Mamone. Devoted mother of F. Paul Mamone of Wells, Maine, Rosalie Muscarella of Medford, Marie Gemellaro of Wilmington, and the late Vincenza Onorato. Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 3 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Anthony Sorrentino of Revere, Carmella Alagna of Italy and the late Bernadetta Parinello, Antonetta Pepitone, Antonio, Giacomo, and Girolamo Sorrentino.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 9.
Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
