Of Brockton Dec 7th, Mary (92) died in the Baypointe Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
Mary was born in Wareham daughter of the late Frank and Candida (Monteiro) Alves of Cape Verdean descent and resided in Brockton most of her life. She was a housekeeper for the Gold family of Walpole for many years. She enjoyed music, reading and her dog missy.
Survivors include her loving grand niece Julia L. Fowler who took great care of her in her later years. 4 nieces Lorraine Fowler, Joan Andrade both of Brockton, Sandra Alves of Yarmouth and Lisa Johnson of Penn., a nephew Joseph Alves of Brockton a sister Margaret Faria of Hyannis and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court St Brockton Wed. Dec 14th at 10 am. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery, Wareham. Visitation Tues.
