Obituary

Alfred Fairbrother, 66, of Salem, NH, died October 31st at the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.

Born in Boston, MA, he grew up and was educated in Wilmington, MA. He later graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA. He was a resident of Salem for the past 5 years, formerly of Sandown, NH

Alfred was an attendant for the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA. He was also a former Technical Director for many theaters, including Dracula’s Castle in Salem, MA. He was a founder of the Lion’s Renaissance Fair. He was an avid actor and singer. He loved to play Dungeons & Dragons and had hundreds of figurines. He enjoyed photography, riding motorcycles and singing Christmas Carols at area Nursing Homes with friends.

He was the son of the late Alfred & Josephine (Rossi) Fairbrother.

He is survived by his Close Friends and Caretakers:
Kathryn and Jerry Morris of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be Sunday, Dec. 11th from 2-6 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 12th at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
