Manchester- Thomas D. “Pete” Levesque, 76, died December 6, 2011 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
He was born in Nashua on July 10, 1935 the son of Thomas and Imelda (Morin) Levesque.
Prior to his retirement he had been a foreman, supervisor, then eventually became co- owner of Rivco.
He played semi professional baseball in Nashua, he also coached and played hockey in MRYHA and Manchester North Little League. He was an avid skier and golfer, he held membership at Concord Country Club as well as Charmingfare Farms/ Candia Woods. He was a regular patron of the Puritan Backroom restaurant where he enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and conversation.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carmel Levesque on September 15, 2011.
Family members include two sons, Stephen P. Levesque and his wife, Nancy of Weare, Gary T. Levesque of Manchester, four grandchildren, Nick Levesque, Trevor Levesque, Keely Levesque, Karissa Levesque, one brother, Gerard Levesque of Nashua, and other extended family.
Calling hours will be on Monday December 12, 2011 from 5 to 7 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 10 AM in the funeral home.
