Mrs. Giovanna Magaletta , age 70, passed away Saturday at her residence in Medford following a lengthy illness.
She was a Medford resident since her arrival from Italy. Born in Avellino, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angiolo and Gratzia (Rinaldo) Annichiarico. She is the beloved wife Euplio Magaletta. Giovanna is a late member of the society Maddona di Anzano of Somerville.
She is also survived by her 3 sons, Savino, Antonio, and Angelo Magaletta of Medford, and a daughter Vincenza Mannone of Las Vegas, NV. And a special grandmother of 7.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 7 - 9 and Tuesday 7 – 9.Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
