Alexay, Edward J., PhD age 93 of Teaneck died Tuesday, December 6, 2011. He is survived by his wife Marion (nee) George, his son Mark and his wife Analida, and their two children Evan Andrew and Ariana Alexay. Dr. Alexay was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Teaneck and worked many years as a professor at Manhattan Community College. Prior to dedicating his life to teaching he served in the U.S. Air Force during both WWII and Korea. Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday 4-8PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck. A funeral service will begin at 7PM at the funeral home.
