OLDHAM, AUGUST "BUDDY," 85, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at St. Joseph Branch of Hospice of the Bluegrass in Lexington KY.
He was born to Edward Sutton Oldham and Louella Higdon in LaGrange, KY on August 4, 1926.
He retired from CSX Rail Road after 44 years of service. Formerly of Shively, KY, he was a active member of the former Parkview United Methodist Church.He was a member of the Shively Masonic Lodge # 951and a World War II veteran serving in the Army Air Corp.
Mr. Oldham is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Jean Fudge.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra L. Faulk; and his son, Larry E. Oldham (Carole). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday
