Riordan, Vincent dePaul, of Greenville, RI, formerly of Foxboro and Westwood, December 5, 2011. Beloved husband of Alice “Pat” (Louder) and the late Josephine (Keville). Loving father of Paula M. King of Plainville, Dennis P. of Dedham, and John J. of Franklin. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Loving brother of Mary McLean of Ogunquit, ME, and the late Robert J. Riordan.
Know as Paul, Vin or Vinny, he was born on Feb. 8, 1923 in Jamaica Plain, and was the son of the late John and Catherine (Gormley) Riordan. He graduated from English High School, class of 41, and served his country in the US Army in WW II (DAV). Paul received his undergraduate degree in Marketing from Boston College, class of 1948. He worked in sales for the DuPont and Union Carbide companies. He was a member of the Woodland Country Club, and the Foxborough Country Club. Extraordinary oil painting artist who sold many of his scenic paintings. Built two boats.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Friday December 9, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in The Holy Name Church at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
