Tedesco, Geraldine C. (Toto), 72, of Derry, NH died Friday December 2, 2011 in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Tedesco was born in Chelsea, MA on January 14, 1939, a daughter of the late John and Carmella (Covino) Toto. She had resided in Derry for the past 25 years, formerly living in Chelsea. She retired in 2004 from the IRS in Andover, MA where she was employed as a data transcriber.
Beloved mother of Bill Tedesco of Lynn, MA, Debra Nixon of Harwich, MA, Darlene Pero of Manchester, NH, Denise Tedesco of Derry, and Doreen Acevedo of Manchester, grandmother of seven, sister of Christine Zaremba of Scituate, MA and Carol Rennie of Naples, FL, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William B. Tedesco in 2003.
Calling hours were held on Monday December 5, 2011 from 5 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Anthony’s Church, 172 Belmont St., Manchester, with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, 58 E. Broadway, Derry, NH 03038.
