Obituary

WORCESTER-Florence Rose (Dube) Allaire, 98, of Worcester died Wednesday, November 30th in her home. Her husband, Wilfred G. Allaire, died in 1995. She leaves two sons, Russell F. Ellis, Jr. and his wife, Beatrice of Springfield and Wilfred G. Allaire, III with whom she lived, her daughter Vivien F. Pignatiello of Dayton, OH; a sister, Helen E. Magee of Spencer; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Two brothers, Albert and Ralph Dube, and three sisters, Marie B. Gatto, Loretta B. Norberg and Rita M. Gatto predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Albert J. and Rose J. (Lavallee) Dube. Florence graduated from the former High School of Commerce and worked as a cook at Doherty High Memorial School, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the Daughters of Pocahontas.
Her funeral is Wednesday, December 7th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 6th from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
