ROCKINGHAM: Mrs. Mary Frances Bennett Williams, 78, of 1820 Sunselt Belt, Rockingham, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 in her home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:oo PM on Monday, December 5, in Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Ernie Walters and Rev. Richard Rainwater officiating. Internment will follow in Eastside Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Richmond County, Mary was born on December 12, 1932 to the late Howard P. and Susan Maness Bennett. She was a homemaker and a member of Shining Light Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Henry, and J.P. Bennett and a sister, Amanda Estridge.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Williams, Jr.; a son, Tommy A Williams of Rockingham; two daughters, Mary Link of Matthews, Jeannie Fincham of Rockingham; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N. US Hwy. 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2-4:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, and other times at the home.
