William Michael “Mike” Farmer, 62, of Ocilla died Friday, December 2, 2011, at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2011, in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends will give eulogies.
Mr. Farmer was born on March 10, 1949, in Tift County and was the son of Virginia Duggans Farmer of Tifton and the late William Oliver “Bill” Farmer. He was retired from the Department of Transportation.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Farmer is survived by his wife, Ernestine Giddens Farmer of Ocilla; one daughter, Dana Hall of Tifton; one sister, Jeannie Farmer Carey of Tifton; one granddaughter, Olivia Peacock; two nieces, Amanda Carey Kinley and Stephanie Carey; two great nieces; and three great nephews.
