Passed away unexpectedly & peacefully at home in his favorite chair on November 29, 2011. Preceded in death by parents Charles & Phyllis; sister Kathryn Stelter; brother Mark. Survived by wife Cherie (nee Byrnes); son Andrew "Andy"; sisters Arlene (Charlie) Jennings, Lisa (Mark) Cox; brothers Jim, Don (Marlene), Cyril (Karen), Joe (Claire); many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Loved scouting with son Andrew, golfing, biking, running & the MN Twins. Longtime employee of St. Paul Regional Water Services. Mass of Christian Burial Monday (12/5) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Interment Union Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 3-7 PM with prayers at 6:30 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, and one hour prior to Mass at church.
