Pearl Ruth Lindsey, age 74 of Oak Grove, KY, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Veterans Hospital in Nashville, TN.
She was born on June 22, 1937 in Newburn, NC to the late Clarence Saunders and Sarah Lindsey. She is also preceded in death by a son, Michael David Groves.
Funeral service to be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11 a.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Father Larry Peters officiating. Burial will be in Caverton Cemetery in Riverhead, NY at a later date. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Pearl was a retired U.S. Army and Air Force Veteran. She was also a retired physicians assistant at Blanchfield Hospital.
She is survived by four sons, James Anthony Groves, Gregory Alan Groves, Gerald Douglass Groves and William Patrick Groves; a daughter, Rosemary Elizabeth Groves; a sister, Carol Lyles; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
