Joseph L. Bullock, 87, formerly of Franklin died November 29 in the Concord Health Care Center in Concord Mass. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Kinckle) Bullock and the late Anne (Barry) Bullock.
Born in Wakefield, September 6, 1924, the son of the late Patrick and Josephine (Johnston) Bullock, Mr. Bullock was raised in Arlington and had lived in Franklin for many years.
Mr. Bullock had operated Joe’s Auto Supply Company in Franklin for many years.
He had been a member of the Franklin Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed cooking going to York Beach Maine and was an avid New England Patriots fan. He had been a season ticket owner for over 30 years.
Mr. Bullock served in the Army during World War II attaining the rank of Private First Class.
He is survived by his children, Michael Bullock of Lee, Stephen Bullock of Medway, Beth Mooney of Watertown, Joni Bullock of Wakefield, David Mooney of Amesbury, Chris Mooney of Watertown and the late Carol Bullock.
He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Bullock of Arlington, Joan McBreen of AZ, Frances McGowan of Boxboro, Dorothea Johnston of Cambridge, Sr. Mary Bullock of Arlington and Claire O’Brien of Stoneham.
He was the brother of the late John Bullock, Patricia Powers, Ann King, Margaret Brennan and Barbara Bullock.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
There will be a simple funeral service held on Saturday, December 3 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
