Dympna (McShane) Jacobsen, 84, of Dartmouth died November 30, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Francis Canning and Jacob "Jack" Jacobsen.
Born in Portadown, County Armagh, Ireland, the daughter of the late Matthew J. and Maryann (McCormick) McShane, she lived in Pawtucket and Providence before moving to Dartmouth in 1979.
She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. Friday, December 2nd at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, RI. Visiting hours are omitted.
