Marlboro, MA
Jeffrey P. Wolcott, 55, formerly of Marlboro, currently residing in St. Petersburg, FL, died on Nov. 5th at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL from accidental injuries he sustained after a fall.
Jeff was born and raised in Marlboro, son of the late Robert Wolcott and survived by his mother, Josephine (Ricciuti) Wolcott of St. Petersburg, FL. He attended Immaculate Conception Grammar School in Marlboro and was a 1974 graduate of Hudson Catholic High School. Jeff was a member of the 1973 Super Bowl Runner-up football team and was a standout hockey player at Hudson Catholic. He also was a member of the former I.C. Dukes Drum and Bugle Corps. of Marlboro. Jeff owned and operated the former Hudson Exxon Service Station in Hudson for many years and was a former assistant coach and later head coach of the Hudson Catholic Hockey Team. He enjoyed the many golf outings and trips shared with friends, he loved the ocean and sport fishing as hobbies and was a long time member of the Bar Lunch of Hudson Cribbage League. He was an avid sports fan of the professional Boston sports teams and his family and friends will remember him most for his kind heart and his “Jack of all Trades” ability to help them with their many maintenance and building projects.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his two brothers, David Wolcott of Largo, FL, Richard Wolcott of Marlboro; his sister, Cheryl Wolcott of Marlboro and his many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his fiancé, Sandra Baker.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8th followed by a memorial service and celebration of Jeff’s life at 7:00 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
