Mrs. Edith (Benullo) Rastellini, Of Woburn, age 87, died unexpectedly, Saturday November 26, 2011 in Danvers. Born and raised in Woburn, Edith was the devoted daughter of the late Carmella (Marrone) and Michael Benullo.
A graduate of Woburn High School, Edith was a lifelong resident. She loved her crafts, her trips to Foxwoods and weekly bingo games. Most of all, Edith enjoyed being with her loving family.
Edith was the beloved wife of the late Peter J. Rastellini Sr. Devoted mother of Gerald Rastellini & his wife Cheryle of Lincoln, MT, Peter Rastellini Jr. of Florida, Thomas Rastellini of Peabody, Linda Smith & her husband Craig of Hiram. ME, James Rastellini and his wife Ellen of Woburn, Diane Dumas and her husband Gary of NH, and Philip Rastellini of Woburn. Also survived by 13 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Rita Benullo of Boston, the late Anna Tuttle, Margaret Blanchard, Angelina Gunsher, Mary, Joseph, Felix and Michael Benullo.
Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held in the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Thursday December 1st, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contribution be made in Edith's name to a charity of your choice.
