Pearl E. (Adams) Flanagan, 83 years old, a resident of Haverhill died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her home surounded by her loving family.
Born on June 20, 1928 in Lawrence to Joseph and Mary (Arlequeeuw) Adams, educated in Lawrence local schools. She worked for some 20 years for BKC and ITT in Lawrence, until her retirement in 1991. Pearl loved to spend time with her family and she adored her grand children and great grand children. She was an avid reader of books.
Pearl is the loving wife of the late: Walter A. Flanagan, Sr. and is survived by: her daughter Margaret Flanagan-Wilke of Fayetteville, NC, her sons; Walter A. Flanagan Jr. and companion Mimi Jespersen of Salem, NH, and Michael J. and his wife Joanne Flanagan of Wardhill, MA, her daughters; Kathleen and her husband Mark Hanewich of Bradford, MA, and Joanne Flanagan-Waring and her husband John Waring of Haverhill, one brother George Adams of Dracut, as well as 13 grand children, and 15 great gand children, and many nieces and nephews, and is predeceased by her sister: Frances Hilderbrandt.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at 10:00AM in St. Monica Church in Methuen. A burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
