Alma D. Amara age 78 of Bridgewater, formerly of Canton & Plainville passed away November 25th at the New England Sinai Hospital after a long illness. Born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, she has lived in Bridgewater for the past 2 years. She loved to paint, read and travel and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Mother of Diane Arnold of Bridgewater, Lisa White of Plainville, Joseph Amara of Middleboro, Matt Amara of Ohio and the late Steven Amara. Sister of Edna Wiggins of FL. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30. Burial Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
