Obituary

Henri A. Riquier, 85, of Pulaski Blvd, Bellingham, died Monday, November 21, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Therese (Couture) Riquier. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late David, Jr. and Velentine (Garree) Riquier .

Henri was employed by the US Postal Service as a Mailman in Woonsocket for over thirty years. He served in the US Army during World War II. Henri was a member of the American Legion #0462 and the Disabled American Veterans. He also enjoyed gardening, taking care of his home and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife of sixty three years, Henri is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Marsocci and her husband Jack of Narragansett and Deborah Keefe of Bellingham, his sister Helene Benjamin of Chesapeake, VA, grandchildren Peter Marsocci and his wife Jean of Cranston , Julie Marsocci of Hawaii, Shaun Keefe of Delaware and Shannon Keefe of Bellingham and great-grandchildren Jade and Peyton. He was the brother of the late Lionel Riquier and Lorette Aucoin.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, November 29th at 9:00AM from the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Theresa's Church, Rathbun St, Blackstone. Burial, with Military Honors will be held in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Calling hours are on Monday from 4-7 PM.
