Lois Esda Thomas Flowers Rodewoldt, 92, of Tifton went home to be with her Lord on Thanksgiving night at Tift Health Care. She will be buried by her husband, Wilbur Flowers in Cimarron, Kansas. Services will be held at a later date.
Lois was a housewife and mother and enjoyed sewing and painting. She was born on July 5, 1919 in Pratt, Kansas and had lived in Kansas, Colorado, Canada and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, four brothers and a sister. Her loving brother, Frank, preceded her in death by 36 hours and is survived by his wife, LaVern Thomas, of Liberal, Kansas. Lois is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Roberta and Cleo Koehler of Wellington, Kansas and Jo and J. C. Bell of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Marilyn Thomas of Tyrone, Oklahoma and Kent and Jan Flowers of Zebulon; two step-daughters and their husbands, Sharon Martin of Phoenix, Arizona and Deann and Richard Koehn of Dodge City, Kansas; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
